Sushant Singh Rajput’s first motorcycle was a Honda CBR, although he eventually added several other vehicles from global automakers to his garage.
In one of the most shocking news stories of 2020, we lost Sushant Singh Rajput to suicide today. We will not desecrate his memory by speculating about what drove him to that decision. Instead, we would like to take this opportunity to remember the man he really was for: an exemplary actor, a biker and an absolute petrolhead.
Sushant Singh Rajput, or SSR as we were affectionately known, began his career on motorcycles with a Honda CBR. We are told that in order to buy his first bike, he gave lessons to students so that he could save up for the bike he was still thinking about. Finally, he bought the BMW K1300 R. One of the best things about him was that he never forgot his first bike, even though he switched to high-end brands like BMW Motorrad. During one of his countless interviews he had said that although he absolutely loved his BMW, he was still very attached to his Honda CBR.
Rajput was also very fond of cars, as evidenced by the fact that his garage housed a Maserati, a Nissan GTR and a Range Rover.
Suicide is a public health problem that affects millions upon millions of people around the world. If you or someone you know is struggling with things, we ask that you turn to someone you trust.
