Are you puzzling over, a way to create money blogging? Many years ago i spotted bloggers were creating earning. In some cases, they were creating huge amount of money! So many of them appeared like regular individuals, rather like Pine Tree State. However specifically were they doing it? And will I create money blogging too?

How do bloggers make money?
The most successful bloggers use their blog as a focal point or online home base and then generate a lot of revenue streams.
It is crucial to use your blog as a hub, to control your message and to find a place where you can always find yourself. These revenue streams include publicity, affiliate marketing, the sale of digital or physical products or the provision of services. For each of us, we will go into detail below.
Bloggers make money directly and indirectly through their blogs through associated prospects. Revenue tricks from multiple streams add up to a significant revenue stream.
How much do bloggers make?
It varies greatly. Some bloggers earn millions of dollars annually. Like me, others earn a healthy full – time income. Some make less, and some don’t make any money.
Although it is interesting to know how much a blogger is doing, what motivates me most is how much a blogger can do. There is no guaranteed amount and it is not easy, but normally there is no limit. The number of creative ways bloggers generate income is amazing. That’s one of the things I love to blog.
Solid blogging income figures are hard to come by or justify. In the US, for example, the Labor Statistics Bureau lumps bloggers in the very broad category of ” writers and authors ” with a median annual income of $ 61,240. This is not an accurate measure, because there are many different things. You can also find information from small surveys and subjective evidence online, but much of it is outdated or taken from small sample sizes.
What are the ways bloggers make money (income streams)?
These are income streams. There are 5 main ones, with many possibilities under each:
- Affiliate Marketing
- Digital Products
- Physical Products
Companies want to get their product in front of potential customers. They may be curious in advertising on your blog if your readers are their ideal customers. Here are ways to incorporate advertising into your blog:
- Display ads– Graphics in your sidebar, header, footer or within your content.
- Giveaways & reviews– Companies provide you with free product (and hopefully monetary compensation) and you highlight that product on your blog.
- Sponsored or underwritten posts– Companies pay you to write posts mentioning them or their product.
- Newsletter / video / podcast sponsorships– Advertisements in emails or mini commercials in videos or podcast episodes.
It is easy to start advertising, making it a popular revenue stream for many bloggers. It is not as rewarding, however, as it used to be and requires a lot of traffic to be truly profitable. It also risks frustrating your readers (ever only attacked by ads on a site?) and making your site look cheap and sophisticated. It’s not therefore a top recommendation of mine.
Selling Private Ads
Working with advertising networks is not your only option when it comes to selling ads. If you end up getting enough traffic, advertisers may come directly to you and ask you to place their ad on your site. You can also contact the advertisers yourself. The biggest difference to the above option is that there is no middleman, so you can set your own ad prices.
Private ads can be sold in the form of banners, buttons or links. You can even earn money by writing sponsored articles in which you write about or review an advertiser’s product or service. Another option is to write a signed post or series in which you can write about any topic, but the advertiser pays for a “borrowed by” mention in the content.
The ways in which you can make money from this can vary. For example, you can charge a one-time fee for a link within a post. If you host banner ads, you can charge your affiliate the following monthly fees.
As an affiliate marketer, you promote someone else’s product or service to your readers. You link to that product or service using your unique affiliate link. When, someone clicks through that link and makes a purchase (or completes a desired action set by the company), You’re earning a commission. Thousands of affiliate programs are to be joined. Affiliate marketing is one of my most favorite and profitable revenue streams. You can highlight products or services that you use and love without yourself having to create or maintain this product.
Include Affiliate Links in Your Content
Affiliate marketing is also another great tool for monetizing your blog. This is how affiliate marketing works:
An advertiser has a product they want to sell. She agrees to give you a commission for each sale when the buyer comes from your site.
She gives you a unique link that tracks your affiliate code. This way she knows when a buyer has made a purchase through your link.
You place your affiliate link on your website. You can do this directly in the content or through banner ads. When a reader clicks on your unique link and buys the product you recommended, you earn a percentage of what she has bought.
You can use affiliate marketing through advertising networks such as Amazon Associates, or you can form private partnerships with advertisers and companies with an affiliate program.
- Many bloggers create and sell digital products of their own. Digital products are great because they do not need inventory and can be quickly and easily distributed. There is no overhead and insufficient risk. Bloggers of digital products create examples:
- Ecourses– Teach others what you know and sell it over and over again.
- Online classes or workshops– Teaching, but in a live setting.
- Ebooks– Self publishing is very profitable for many.
- Premium Content– Content others must pay to access.
- Membership sites– A mixture of teaching and community.
- Photos– Many photographers sell their photos online.
- Audio or video– Create music jingles, voice overs or video clips.
- Apps, plugins or themes– Great for those who love code.
Some bloggers sell physical products. Some examples:
- Books– Many bloggers have become traditionally published authors due to their blogs.
- Handmade Products– Are you a maker?
- Manufactured Products– Many bloggers find a manufacturer to make their idea a reality.
- Retail arbitrage– Can you find great deals? Turn around and sell them at a profit on sites like Amazon.
- In-person conferences, classes or special events– The exchange of something tangible (money) for a ticket to an in-person experience.
In recent years, a surge of bloggers have started selling physical products. It can be profitable, but it can be complicated by production, inventory retention, shipping, returns, etc.
Some bloggers decrease the hassle of producing physical products by dropshipping or through POD (print on demand).
Some bloggers use their blog topic skills and get paid when others hire them. Services can be provided on-site or virtually. Examples:
- Speaking– Many bloggers find speaking gigs as a result of the platforms they build on their blogs.
- Virtual assistance– Some bloggers earn through the profession as virtual assistant in many companies.
- Freelancing– This is offering a service to clients and is similar to virtual assistance.
- Organizing, decorating, cooking– Some bloggers also provide in-person services to their local readers.
Offering a service is a brilliant way to make money quickly because startup costs are low, you need little to no inventory and you are paid for a skill you already have. The downside is that it’s not scalable; you have only so much time, meaning you can earn only as much as your time allows.
Use it as a content marketing instrument for your company.
It is also possible to sell physical products on your blog and earn money this way. However, don’t think about making money with your blog, but consider your blog as a content marketing tool that will inspire visitors to your corporate website.
The possibilities are practically endless when it comes to developing a business blog. You could sell handmade products, books, finished products and so much more. Or you already have a business and decide to start a blog to attract loyal customers.
Suppose you renovate and resell used smartphones from home. You could use a blog to attract visitors to your website where you have your current phones for sale. Your blog could cover topics about home improvement. On one level, it seems counterintuitive because you want people to buy your phones, but it also helps you build a brand and gain recognition. Another way to earn money is by selling memberships to exclusive corners of your website. For example, a career blog could charge $10 per month to access their job board. A startup business blog could sell memberships to their forums where users can get personalized advice about their business.
The key is that your exclusive membership must be more valuable than something that your visitors can find for free somewhere else. So make sure you develop something of value and worth at ™re.
Use it to build your credibility
Blogging to build credibility can lead to many earning opportunities. For example, suppose you start a blog in the financial industry. People start reading your content and your blog becomes very popular. You are now a recognized figure in the financial industry.
Once you have that authority, people might approach you to co-write a book on debt management, or you could speak at conferences or organize financial training days for employees.
This is certainly not a direct form of blogging to make money, but it has worked for many well-known bloggers, and it may work for you. If youâ€™re are looking for a direct source of income, popular blogs have sold for 4-7 numbers (sometimes more) by selling their branding and content.
How can I start my own blog and make money?
When you start your blog, concentrate on building a solid library of 10 – 20 blog posts or more. Make sure they are meaty and helpful. Remember, your goal is to be your topic’s goal.
Next, figure out which income streams are natural extensions of your posts. Implement them one at a time until you find the ones that work best for you.
Build relationships in the meantime on social media, in Facebook groups and wherever your potential readers hang. Don’t just promote your own things, but be a useful part of the talk. Eventually people will check what you have to offer.
The reply is yes. I would, however, caution against it. The reason is that you do not have as much control over your blog when you use a free service. This can be risky, especially if you are relying on your revenue blog. My recommendation is a self-hosted WordPress blog which can be started at a very low cost.
5 extra tips to make money blogging
- Use as many revenue streams that you can manage reasonably. Diversification is essential.
- The key to long – term success is excellent content. It’s no way around.
- Every blogger has a different income stream combination. There’s no ” right ” way and this is its beauty. There are endless options. Find a mix that works for you.Don’t be a replica of another blogger. Find a unique angle.
- Successful bloggers are not just starting a blog for money. They blog about a subject that they really like and can write about for years. They let the money organically grow out of this topic.
Create Quality content
You will not make money with your blog if people do not read it. After all, your readers are the ones who will make you money, whether they click on your ads or buy your products. Always put your readers first.
Don’t spend your time exclusively on your blog.
Developing a successful blog has a lot to do with building relationships. This can include relationships with sponsors, affiliates, or simply with other bloggers who direct traffic to your blog. Make sure you spend some of your time on forums and other blogs (or whatever works for you) to build those relationships and your blog.

Not all these tips and income opportunities will work for you. Don’t be afraid to fine-tune your methods to see what works best for you and your readers.
Making money can take a lot of perseverance, but it can pay off in the long run if you start from scratch. Just remember that you don’t have to use all these ways to make money at once. Think about what other people in your industry do and start from there
