Tamilrockers licks gorilla movie online: Jiiva star Gorilla is written and directed by Don Sandy. Shalini Pandey, Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi, Sathish, Rajendran and Ramdoss also play the leading roles in the film.
Jiiva star Gorilla was leaked online from the Tamilrockers piracy website. The website has been in operation for several years and has pirated numerous movies and TV shows.
Gorilla is written and directed by Don Sandy. Shalini Pandey, Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi, Sathish, Rajendran and Ramdoss also star in the film.
Tamilrockers, as the name suggests, was limited to the Tamil film industry but has since expanded to Bollywood and even Hollywood films.
Despite a high court order blocking similar piracy centres, Tamilrockers has not stopped being a troublemaker. The website changes its domain extension every time. It can also be accessed via proxy servers.
Gorilla has not pleased critics. Indianexpress.com’s Subhakeerthana gave him a star. Subhakeerthana wrote: “Gorilla is clouded by an outdated plot and bland writing. A high-ranking policeman, played by Radha Ravi, grabs Yogi Babu’s face and calls him “Gorilla”. When will the creators perform Body Shaming, is also a form of abuse? It is unfortunate how “jokes” are presented and perceived. “
She added: “Jeeva finds this chimpanzee, and we are told how the film begins. What I don’t understand is, how on earth can someone have a wild animal in a home-like environment and not be arrested for it? Anyone with half a brain will admit that most of the movies that come out today seem to have been knocked out of a can that expired in the late 80’s. “
The film follows the journey of a group of outsiders who wanted to rob a bank. What makes the film so special and different? They take the help of a chimp named Kong. Kong was hired by a training station in Thailand, which is known for training animals like chimpanzees and gorillas for mainly Hollywood movies. Most sequences related to the chimpanzee were shot in Thailand, while the remaining scenes were shot in Chennai.
This is not the first time that Tamilrockers released a film a week after its release. Some of the latest films that have fallen victim to the notorious film piracy website include Salman Khan’s Bharat, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Kalank, Avengers: Endgame, Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu and NGK. According to the Buzz, they record the film in local cinemas and then upload it to their website.
